Compassion Project!!

I just got off the phone with World Vision!!  They were super thankful and thought it was amazing what these 7 and 8 year olds accomplished.  With our one time donation of 83$ we were able to support 3 families with two chickens each.  The 8$ extra dollars will go towards feed for the chickens.  She will share our story with those in the office and our class will be recognized.  I will get a card soon as well with pictures to share.   Yay!  We are reaching out and helping others instead of thinking of ourselves!  Now let's go share and spread the giving spirit!!  Way to go Realers!!

Compassion Project

After a week of hard work, the kids totaled a whopping $82.65 for their Compassion Project.  This was more than I've ever seen for this project in the 4 years that I've done it.  The stories the students shared will touch your heart.  Most giving up play time, or things they wanted.  How amazing is that!!!

The kindness that I saw yesterday was amazing.  The way you said kind words to one another about your dioramas made my heart melt.  I know Luci spread the disease and because of her one action it spread kindness throughout our classroom.  That's what I'm talking about.

   there are no mistakes inmywritingtoday.  i am a goood writer. i don't even need to reread it. all i have to do is write it once and i'm done. i don't even need to add details. 2 sentences is fine. 

  What on earth?   Someone must have invaded my blog last night and wrote the above paragraph.  They for sure are not doing what we've learned in 2nd grade.  We must reread and we must add details for our readers.  Please help!
