Field Trip Day

Dear Realers,

I can't wait!  Our field trip to the Conco Quarry is today.  We are going to learn a ton.  It is also just a good time to be with our classroom family.  My favorite was when you all wanted to have your picture taken as a family yesterday on the play ground.  You are a very sweet class.

Dear Realers,

Blogging and writing is so much fun.  I truly love writing and this is such a fun way to do it.  I can't wait for our field trip tomorrow.  Make sure to wear a red shirt and tennis shoes.

The morning bonus question is for you to tell me what 2 things you are to wear on the field trip.  Go Realers!!!

Have a wonderful day!

Love,
Mrs. Miesner

Jangles

Jangles by: David Shannon

A story about a big fish

I just found a simile
-The lake was as smooth as glass-  it is saying the lake looked really smooth without any ripples.

I just found an onomatopoeia

  - Jingle, Jangle, tangle

I just found personification
  - Jangles starts talking- Oh my goodness!!

I just found alliteration
  -jingly jaws

I just finished a really great book.  It left me hooked.  I don't know exactly how it really turned out because the author said, he won't tell me. The pictures were so beautiful and descriptive words helped me really understand what was going on.  The boy chose to do the right thing.  I hope I can also learn from this story.

You can view this story on amazon.com on your kindle or other reading device.

Rock City

Students,

Don't forget to bring in a small rock, that can fit safely in a ziploc plastic baggie.  Bring it in by tomorrow.

YOU are amazing scientists.
